Celebrating over 40 years of Happy Gardening
The Douglas County Garden Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 1:00pm at the Castle Rock Library.
Douglas County Garden Club was organized and federated in 1985 with 8 members. Our objectives are to encourage interest in all phases of home and community gardening, to facilitate better horticultural practices, to promote civic pride, and to nurture beauty in our community by protecting it’s natural resources.
We do have community service projects which require a certain amount of participation from our members. To balance our volunteerism we enjoy an Herb Luncheon and a Holiday party. We also have an Out & About Committee who plan interesting events which showcase our community as well as add to our knowledge and enjoyment of gardening.
